Elvis Presley My Happiness Record Store Day 2015 Exclusive 10" Version
This exclusive Record Store Day 2015 release. It is an exact replica of the very first songs Elvis Presley put on record.
Elvis cut the original in 1953, when he was 18 years old, as a present to his mother. Elvis later gave it to a friend, who held on to it for about 60 years.
In 2014, Jack White (The White Stripes) bought the original copy for $300,000. White is a vinyl lover and music historian, and decided to have the original 78 duplicated and sold exclusively for Record Store Day 2015.
The copies were accurately reproduced, right down to the faded label and fake scratches on the vinyl (the scratches aren’t real and do not affect play. They are there to make the record identical to the original).
