Elvis Presley (Mystery) 45 Rpm On Cin/Kay Label 1978. In Original Camelot Music Bag. There has been a lot of controversy over the authenticity of this 45 rpm record and the verdict still isn’t in. It has been taunted as the first commercial recording by Elvis Presley in 1954. It was indeed a limited edition pressing. I am offering it only as an Elvis related item. Although it has not been 100% authenticated, Elvis’ record company still challenged the release of this assumed lost recording from 1954 and had it’s production halted, adding to it’s rarity. If you owned it then you could decide, is it real? And if it is real, then that makes it the King’s first commercial recording. You can find a wealth of info online in relation to this record. For me, I don’t know if it is authentic so therefore I offer it with the story so if someone wants it they can make an informed decision. I am a Beatles fan but I believe all you Elvis fans are as fanatical as we are. Thanks for looking. There is some yellowing from age around picture sleeve and also on Camelot bag. The record in pic sleeve was inside Camelot bag when I purchased it.
