Description
This is an auction for a STUNNING ORIGINAL DEMO/ PROMO copy of the 1972 release of He Touched Me / Bosom Of Abraham released in the USA.
THIS WAS NOT RELEASED IN THE U.K AS A SINGLE!!!
The record itself (74-0651 Yellow LABEL) is visually in EXCELLENT- condition.(looks hardly played!)
There are some light marks/scratches.(nothing deep or drastic though)
The labels are CRISP,CLEAN and have NO WRITING.(see photos)
They are clearly marked with the words " NOT FOR SALE "
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $175 (£108+)in the condition it is in now, which i would say is EXCELLENT ) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 42 years old and shows minimal signs of ageing.
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS, TEARS and NO WRITING.(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some light ringwear/creases/ scuff marks( all very common with this release)
That all said this is a nice affordable addition to any collection until that mint $400 (£248+) comes along!
This sleeve does not come up for auction very often!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $350(£218+ approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £230+
With a starting price at way under under a half of that you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
THIS IS WITHOUT DOUBT THE BEST CONDITIONED DEMO AND SLEEVE OF THIS RELEASE I HAVE EVER HAD AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN 12 YEARS OF TRADING ON EBAY!!!
