Description
This is it folks. The one that started it all. An original 1956 copy of "Elvis Presley," the self-titled debut LP (RCA Victor LPM-1254 Mono, 10S/9S). Original black ‘Long Play’ labels. Pale pink “Elvis” on front cover.
Vinyl retains excellent shine. There are many light wisps and hairlines, but no deep (feelable) scratches. Playback: a STRONG VG listen with absolutely no pops or skips. There are background crackles, and the occasional ‘tick’ here and there. Overall, a superb listen.
Vinyl: VG
?The cover has issues but still presents very nicely. The top seam is 100% split, the bottom seam is 65% split, and the lower 30% of the spine exhibits paper loss/partial splitting. Minimal ringwear. No writing. Great color.
Cover: G+
[includes original RCA Victor printed inner sleeve (see photos)]
