Description

I ordered this record in 1955 before anyone had hardly heard the name Elvis Presley. I've taken great care of it ever since and this original Sun 45 rpm is in great shape. All three push marks are there (although my photo taking only shows up 2 of them ) The matrix numbers U-142-45  72 and U-143x-45-2  72 are clearly etched on both sides. It has minimal scuffs from sliding it in & out of the sleeve but does not affect playing in the least. Of course there is the faint background hiss typical for the first Sun pressings, but it plays through with no scratches or other blemishes to interfere with the instruments or The King's great voice. Record grade is VG and the label grade is VG+ on one side and the other side is slightly less due to a stain/tape mark where I had taped my name on it decades ago.There are no spindel marks, scratches, tears or blemishes on either side. This is a rare original and a great addition for any Elvis collector!
