Description

This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY - Elvis Volume 2 released in the USA.

The record itself (EPA 993 dog on top)is in VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD condition with some visible marks/scratches (none too deep) and retains some of it's natural sheen.(see photos)

The centre labels have NO WRITING but do have some ringwear on both sides (see photos)

This is the RARE issue WITHOUT Horizontal Silver Line.

This is also a 1st PRESSING as indicated by the 1s in the trail off.

The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $55 in the condition it is in now (which i would say is VERY GOOD+ ) for the sleeve alone!!!

This sleeve is in reasonably nice condition for the age. (see photos)

There are NO SPLITS, RIPS or TEARS.

There are a few visible wrinkles/creases / age discolouration and some writing on both sides (very feint in places)

There is some pen marks through the EPA 993 on the front, a very feint name on the front right (level with Elvis' collar) and some letters on the rear wherever there is an o.

That all said it does not detract from the overall quality of this hard to find sleeve.

This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £95+ copy comes along.

The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $65(£53+ approx) .

I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £55

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
