Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY - Strictly Elvis released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA 994 dog on top) is in EXCELLENT- condition with minimal visible marks/scratches and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.(see photos)
The centre labels have NO WRITING (see photos)
This is the RARE issue WITHOUT Horizontal Silver Line.
This is also a 1st pressing as indicated by the 1s in the trail off.
This is probably one of the cleanest examples of this record I have seen for many years!!
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $70-75 in the condition it is in now (which I would say is EXCELLENT-) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is in nice condition for the age. (see photos)
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS , TEARS or WRITING.( see photos)
The front of the cover is quite nice and bright and there is some light age discolouration on the rear ( normally worse with the release)
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $100 (£80+ approx.)
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £85.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
