Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY - Strictly Elvis released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA 994 dog on top) is in EXCELLENT- condition with some light visible marks/scratches (none too deep) and retains some of it's natural sheen.(see photos)
The centre labels have NO WRITING but do have some ringwear!(see photos)
This is the RARER issue WITH Horizontal Silver Line.
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $65-70 in the condition it is in now (which i would say is VERY GOOD+) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is in nice condition for the age. (see photos)
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS , TEARS or WRITING.
There are some creases on the top slick and some age discolouration but nothing too drastic ( see photos)
This also has the added charm of having the original price sticker still intact on the rear!
On the plus side the front of the cover is quite nice.
This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £95+ copy comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $100(£80+ approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £85.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
