Description

I am a former DJ since the mid-50's.  I have collected hundreds of radio station, and promotional records

throughout my tenure.

Elvis Presley sings "Peace in the Valley", "It is no Secret" on Side one. "I Believe" and "Take My Hand Precious Lord"

on Side 2.  This EP was released  in 1957 as part of the Gold Standard Series.  This recording with "dog" on the side.

Presley had an abiding love for gospel music and this EP initiated his commercial presentation of this interest,

as he would go on to make many more recordings of spiritual music.

All four songs on this EP were well-known hymns before he recorded them.

The vinyl looks flawless, as does the labels.  No turntable wear at all.

The original sleeve from 1957 has a slight one-inch slit in the bottom middle, but the spine and top are perfect.
