PLEASE NOTE: 78 RPM RECORDS ARE VERY FRAGILE!  THEY MUST BE PACKED AND SHIPPED WITH GREATER CARE THAN LPs OR 45s. I TAKE GREAT CARE IN PACKING AND SHIPPING 78s. THIS RECORD WILL BE SANDWICHED IN CARDBOARD, WRAPPED IN BUBBLE WRAP, AND THEN NESTED IN STYROFOAM PEANUTS, OR SOMETHING SIMILAR, IN A LARGER BOX.

This record looks really nice under a bright light, with only a few light scuffs and minor scratches. It has a few spindle marks, about 4 or 5 that are identifiable on the “I Was The One” side and only one or two that I can see on the “Heartbreak Hotel” side. There is no graying of the grooves. “Heartbreak Hotel” plays beautifully and is Loud & Clear throughout. In addition to a few light scratches and rubs, the major problem is a single rub, almost a wide surface gouge, about ½” long about 2/3 of the way through “I Was The One”. See my pix for a view of this defect. This side plays beautifully, Loud & Clear, until the defect, at which time one can hear about 20 barely discernible tics, although it does not cause any skips. This is an excellent copy of this record that would otherwise grade out at VG+.

It will be shipped in a nice generic sleeve with an accompanying 78 RPM - RCA Victor sleeve of the era.
