Description

This is a beautiful Reproduction of one of Elvis Presley’s78 RPM records that he recorded for Sun Records out of Memphis, Tennessee inthe 1950’s. Those originals are hard to find and probably don’t play so wellall these years later. On the other hand, this reproduction was recorded onbeautiful and clean vinyl and will sound so much better.

     This particularrecord is the one that started it all, Elvis’ first record for Sun: “That’s AllRight”/ “Blue Moon Of Kentucky” on Sun 209 from 1954.

     I have no way ofplaying a 78 RPM, but looking at the vinyl, I would grade it at least NearMint. It is THAT clean and unmarked. No scratches, so this must be a recentpressing. It looks like they used exact copies of the old 78 RPM labels forthese reproductions. Being that they are on nice, clean vinyl, I would expectthem not to be breakable like the Sun originals. They feel lighter like a vinylLP rather than like a heavy 78 RPM original.

    These would benice to listen to on older (but maintained) 78 RPM equipment, OR on a 78 RPMjuke box!
