THE CATALOGUE NUMBER IS HIS MASTER’S VOICE CLP 1093
THE MATRIX NUMBERS ARE 2XAV 255 - 1N / 2XAV 256 - 1N
Record in excellent condition - Having played it in spite of it having some light scratches it does not jump at all. There is surface noise such as light crackles (not sure how to describe it but typical of a truly old record) but I have to say not being an Elvis fan this record is truly evocative of an Era gone by. Elvis sounds strong and 'in the rough'. A great experience.
The labels on the record are in extremely good condition
The sleeve is not pristine but it is nearly 60 years old. The main issue is a tear on the front cover of which there is a photograph. The back is fine bar in biro on the top LH corner is a faint indentation of a name and the price 5 Shillings.
