Description
First UK HMV Elvis Presley Rock 'N' Roll (No. 2) CLP 1105
Fully Play Tested overall VG / VG
The surface of the vinyl has numerous marks which cause some noise during playback especially during quiet passages. Overall playback is very good with no major loud pops, clicks or skips - the music really comes to the fore so I find it easy to ignore the background noise during listening. This is especially true when played using a mono cartridge where the noise-floor is dramatically reduced.
Labels are clean but do have some spotting - not at all sure what this is and I haven't made any attempt to clean them.
The sleeve is overall very good and is structurally sound in original condition with no tape or writing etc. There are tiny pin holes to the bottom left, top right and top centre. There is a small piece of the top right rear flap missing. There is a small seam split to the spine and some wear to the lower part of the opening but largely the sleeve is in nice shape - please see the photos.
The original inner sleeve is missing, the record is stored in a new archival sleeve
£100 reserve, I wouldn't want to let it go for less. Record will be securely and properly packed with the vinyl outside of the sleeve and thick LP stiffeners.
Overseas shipping through eBay GSP
Postage to UK addresses, including the GSP hub, will be through insured Royal Mail 24 hour Tracked
