Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1965 Gold Standard Series single Santa Claus Is Back In Town / Blue Christmas released in the USA.
The record itself (447-0647 Dog On Side )is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
There are a few visible marks/scratches.(nothing too deep or drastic though)
The labels are clean and have NO WRITING!(see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
This sleeve is over 48 years old and has NO SPLITS, RIPS, TEARS or WRITING(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some ringwear/scuff marks/creases.(see photos)
THIS REALLY IS QUITE A RARITY and A HARD ONE TO FIND and will make an adequate affordable collecetion filler until that mint $80 record and sleeve comes along!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was still valued at $60+(£40) , so i guess it must now be at least £42.
I will start this at under A HALF OF THAT!!!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE, you will get a GREAT bargain.
