Description
This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1956 Double EP release Elvis Presley released in the USA.
The records (EPB 1254 dog on top WITHOUT SILVER LINE) are in VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD condition retaining some of it's natural sheen with a few visible marks/scratches but nothing too deep or drastic.(see photos)
The centre labels are quite bright have some riipling from where a label has been removed and ringwear NO WRITING (see photos)
This is also the the RARE UN-corrected version with differing track numbers on the inside and rear ( other versions had corrected sides 2 and 3)
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $250 in the condition it is in now (which I would say is VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD) for the sleeve alone!!!
There are NO TEARS (see photos)
The thing that stops this from grading even higher is some scuffs and stains / age discolouration, partial seam splits and a name written on the rear (see photos)
That said , This is a really affordable addition to fill any collection until that Mint $400+ records and sleeve come along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $275 (£210 approx.)
I don't have a current price guide but I would say at least £220.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
