Description
Offered here is the original 1956 double-EP set from Elvis Presley. This is a fantastic example of early rock 'n' roll history, featuring the classic gatefold construction and the iconic early RCA Victor pressings.
Condition Report
Sleeve: The gatefold sleeve is in excellent structural shape with no seam splits. The edges are remarkably straight, sharp, and show very little shelf wear. The title edge is beautiful and remains vibrant.

Notes: There is some light price sticker residue on the cover and minor age-appropriate water staining near the bottom edge. You will also notice light, authentic foxing on both the interior and exterior—consistent with a 70-year-old piece. Additionally, there is a small amount of original glue residue on the front cover from the period manufacturing process where the cover photo was applied to the cardboard; this is a common feature of this specific production run and speaks to its authenticity.
Vinyl (Both Discs): Both records are visually and audibly graded as VG++.

Performance: They sound fantastic and play beautifully. There is some minor surface noise during the intros, as well as light, minimal noise throughout the recordings, but this does not distract from the high-fidelity sound.

Manufacturing Note: There is a tiny, localized warp on the edge of one disc, which is clearly a factory-pressing quirk; the record plays perfectly through this section without issue.

Labels: Both center labels are crisp, clean, and show very little wear.
