Up for bid is a rare original Elvis Presley Sun 78 #217 "Baby Let's Play House/I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone." 78 has no cracks. There is one very small chip in the side of the 78, which does not extend into field of play (see photo #7). This chip is so small it seems like a defect in the cutting of the press. The reason I think this is because the perimeter of the sides of the 78 feel uneven and kind of rough. There is also a small chipped area within the center spindle hole area (see picture 2). This chipped area should not prevent normal play of the 78. 78 has visible scratches and scuffs - I have never played it! It certainly looks as if it should play through with some background noise, as there are no major deep scratches or gouges! I have taken some up close pictures of the surface of both sides for reference (See pictures 5 & 6). 78 has visible spindle wear and spindle marks on both sides of the inner label. I purchased this several years ago for my collection, but in this time of need, I must sell this amazing piece of Rock and Roll history!  I am starting this item out at a reasonable price, with no reserve. I also have a buy it now price listed that we are comfortable with (please note that one of these 78s just sold for $110 more than our asking buy it now price).
