Description
Here is an original Sun Record 217 by Elvis Presley, Scotty & Bill, that was released in April 1955. The song titles are: "Baby Let's Play House" (Gunter) recorded 2-1-1955 (U-143x -45 - 2 72 triangle 3446) and "I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone" (Kesler-Taylor) recorded 3-5-1955 (U - 142 - 45 72 triangle 3292). The record has the three push-marks on each side which are characteristic of Elvis' first four original Sun Records. Also, on side B there is a lack of spacing between the words in the song title. The vinyl still retains some of its gloss and appears to be in very good condition. On the vinyl, there are just a few minor tiny scratch marks. There is very little rubbing wear on the label except for some heavy wear in narrow spaces around the spindle hole where some yellow label is worn away. This record comes in a plain brown record envelope which is not original to the record.
There is no record playing equipment available to play or test the record prior to its sale. Judging visually, the sound quality should be very good for this type of Sun Records pressing which is usually known to have some surface noise.
