Elvis Presley circular solid brass belt buckle, rare 1950s original. Complete, with original brown leather belt. Inscription on the front has musical notes around the circumference and shows the Sun Record logo with crowing cockerel. Sun Record Company was the very first label Elvis recorded with. The inscription reads:

SUN RECORD COMPANY, U131  Vocal 2:10, GOOD ROCKIN' TONIGHT, (Roy Brown), ELVIS PRESLEY, SCOTTY and BILL, 210, MEMPHIS TENNESSEE

Inscription on the back (on the belt hinge):

WARRANTED FINEST MINTED BRASS (beneath small wlded semicircle of brass with eagle above). There is also the faint imprint of an heraldic stamp on the main body.

Purchased new in the nineteen fifties by Mr Johnny Ramsay from Sunderland, County Durham (UK), and owned by him ever since, this very rare buckle is now offered for sale by his widow, Mrs Julie Ramsay.
