ELVIS PRESLEY – “ELVIS SINGS THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF CHRISTMAS” (LSP-4579) – With RARE BONUS PHOTO & SHRINK STICKER!
RECORD: VG++ Hollywood pressing with original glossy surfaces. There are just some extremely light paper sleeve scuffs that should have no effect on the audible performance. This record should play like new! The Orange labels are simply beautiful. This album was released in October of 1971 and includes the hit single “MERRY CHRISTMAS BABY / O COME ALL YE FAITHFUL”. The matrix numbers end with 5S/5S.
COVER: VG+ with full original shrink wrap. The only reason that it does not grade higher is due to a 1-inch scrape on the spine (please see all 9 photos). There is also a smaller scrape on the lower edge of the cover. Other than that, this cover is Near Mint! The original shrink wrap has done its job well in protecting against the dreaded ring wear that plagues so many of these white covers. The Red Shrink Sticker announcing the Bonus “Autographed Christmas card from ELVIS Inside This Album” is simply gorgeous and I grade it as NM! Adding to the nostalgia and aesthetics of this cover, is the original yellow “Kmart” price sticker of $3.77! This album deserves placement in any high-end collection of Elvis Presley records and/or memorabilia. Add it to your collection today!
INNER SLEEVE: The original “ELVIS’ GREAT LP CATALOG” (54A) inner sleeve from the era.
BONUS PHOTO: VG+ with some noticeable record impression to the right side from being stored up against the record for a long period of time. There is also a lower left corner crease that I attempted to capture with my camera, but it turned out a bit blurry. Still quite an attractive Bonus card!
