Description
This is an original pressing of the Elvis Presley - That's All Right b/w Blue Moon Of Kentucky 7" 45 rpm single released by Sun Records in 1954. This is SUN 209. In the dead wax, it is inscribed on side A: U-128-45 72, and on side B: U-129-45 72.
This is an original pressing, NOT a repro! This is a rare original single with a misprint on the side B label (the side with the song Blue Moon Of Kentucky)! The Sun release number 209 is printed upside down on the label! It is below where it is printed Peer BMI on the lefthand side of the label - see picture!
The record visually is in G+ condition with lots of surface scuffs and scratches. Despite this, most of the scratches are not extremely deep, and the record plays/sounds much better than it looks with some steady background surface noise throughout but no loud abrupt skips or pops. One other surface noise to note, at the end of That's All Right, there is a "shhh" surface noise that comes up at the very last few seconds before the song ends and goes into the dead wax.
The record labels on both sides are in VG- condition with some wear. The A side label has some light staining, a little bit of writing on the lefthand side, and what appears to be some sort of square old sticker residue near the bottom to the right of the print. The B side label has an E written on it, and there is a small portion torn away right where Elvis Presley is printed at the bottom of the label. Outside of this spot, everything else on the label including the misprinted release number is very legible.

We visually grade all our records for sale and grade both the record and the jacket. We go by general standards for grading, which are:
Mint (M) - an unplayed, new copy of a record. no visual defects!
Near Mint (NM) - a nearly perfect record that has usually only been played 1-3 times, in "like new" condition.
Very Good + (VG+) - record still in excellent condition but has minor signs of wear such as surface scuffs/light scratches that don't affect the play. jacket has minor signs of wear such as light ringwear, edgewear, shelfwear, and/or light creasing.
Very Good (VG) - record has more wear than VG+ and may have some slight surface noise, light pops, some scuffs or scratches. generally still a great playing copy. jacket may have more wear, writing, sticker residue, punch out/cut out holes or corners.
Very Good - (VG-) - record has noticeable groove wear, surface noise, scratches, and/or scuffs but still a decent playing copy. jacket has heavier wear and may have a small split seam.
Good + and Good (G+ and G) - record still plays without skipping but has considerable amounts of groove wear, surface noise, scuffs, and/or scratches. jacket has alot of wear and some defects such as split seams, heavy creasing, writing, marks, sticker residue, etc...
