Description
I don’t usually auction much Elvis vinyl because there is just soooooo much of it out there for sale. When I find any that aren’t “played to death”, I’ll pass them on by auction to someone who really likes Elvis material.
IN THIS AUCTION:
· “TICKLE ME” by Elvis Presley
· This is RCA Records EPA – 4383.
· Both the CARDBOARD PICTURE COVER & 45 RPM EP 7-Inch RECORD are included in this auction.
· This is an EP (Extended Play) record with 5 cuts on it.
· The cuts on this record are: “I Feel That I’ve Known You Forever” and “Slowly But Surely” on Side 1, and “Night Rider”, “Put The Blame on Me”, and “Dirty, Dirty Feeling” on Side 2.
· These cuts are from the Allied Artists motion picture “Tickle Me” starring Elvis Presley.
· According to my Goldmine Guide to 45 RPM Records (7th edition), this EP is an ORIGINAL 1st PRESSING THAT WAS RELEASED IN 1965.
· The identifying features that make this a 1st pressing are:
o The VINYL has a black RCA Victor label with the dog (Nipper) located on the left.
o The PICTURE COVER has “Coming Soon! …” blurb at the bottom of the cover promoting the upcoming Elvis anniversary LP.
· The VINYL is graded Strong VG to Weak VG+ Condition. The vinyl is nice and shiny with some light hairlines/scuffs.
· The CARDBOARD PICTURE COVER is graded NICE VG+. There is light overall wear and a little wear on the corners, as well as a tiny corner push at the top left corner. There is a little wear on the top seam. The bottom seam has a nicely-repaired small split. The rear cover shows a little wear in the right center area.
· OVERALL, IT’S A NICE 1ST PRESSING ELVIS PRESLEY EP COVER WITH VINYL TO ADD TO YOUR ELVIS OR VINYL COLLECTION.
FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY grade the LPs and 45s I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
