Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1965 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY in Tickle Me released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA 4383 dog on top)is in VERY GOOD condition with some visible marks/scratches (nothing deep or drastic though) and retains some of it's natural sheen.
The centre labels have a small number written on
This also has the added bonus of being a 1st pressing as indicated by the 1s in the trail off!
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $50 in the condition it is in now, which i would say is EXCELLENT- for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 52 years old and is in nice condition for the age.
There is NO WRITING!
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some light ringwear/scuff marks (see photos)
This is also the RARE 1st issued sleeve with " COMING SOON " Elvis' Anniversary LP Album (rather than the Later issued "Ask For")
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $70(£56 approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £60.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
