Description

This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1956 EP release ELVIS PRESLEY  released in the USA.

The record itself (EPA-747 dog on top) is in VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD condition with some visible marks/scratches.(nothing too deep or drastic though)

The centre labels have NO WRITING , however do have some ringwear/rubbing (see photos)

This is also the RARE issue WITHOUT SILVER LINE!

The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $60  in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD )for the sleeve alone!!!

This sleeve is 58 years old and is still in reasonable condition for the age..

There are NO SPLITS, RIPS or TEARS and the colours are still reasonably bright(see photos)

The only things that stop this from grading even higher is some ringwear/scuff marks, a name and partial address stamp on the guitar on the front cover , a number written on Elvis' face and some slight age discolouration on the rear (see photos)

This is one of the 6 thick cardboard issued sleeves for this release and has the black banner at the top with white writing and has the same writing and Elvis photo as the EPA 830 extended play (see my other items for an example of this)

This is a really affordable addition to fill any collection until that mint £80+ record and sleeve come along!!.

The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $80(£52 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £55.

THIS REALLY IS A HARD TO FIND TO SLEEVE!!!

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
