Description
Elvis Presley set of 6 lp's from the Armed Forces Radio and Television services. They are a six hour tribute that were shipped to the U.S.S. Trenton to be played on August 16, 1978, the one year anniversary of Elvis's untimely death. After being aired they were to be destroyed but instead were sent back to the states to a family member. Each album contains one hour (30 minutes a side) of interviews and stories from Elvis's closest friends and family. Also, has famous past interviews that were conducted with Elvis. These are awesome. All six albums are in pristine condition. Absolutely no scuffs, scratches and or writing of any kind. Mint !! The lady I purchased these from wrote the story on the sheet that I have in my pictures. She was the one that was sent these albums, from her son who served on the Trenton. I have been collecting for going on 30 years and have never seen these anywhere... Once again eBay thinks these can be properly shipped for $4.00. I encased albums with 1/4" plywood as well as bubble wrap and padding. Shipped with insurance will be about $10-15.
