Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1964 release of Viva Las Vegas /What'd I Say released in the USA.
The record itself (47-8360)is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are a few marks/scratches, nothing too deep or drastic though.
The labels have NO WRITING!(see photos)
This auction is about the EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND "ASK FOR" THE SPECIAL Viva Las Vegas E.P (as oppossed to the more common Coming Soon")
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $80 in the condition it is in now which i would say is ONLY VERY GOOD-/GOOD+ (hence the LOW STARTING PRICE) for the sleeve alone!!!
A Mint copy for this version of the sleeve costs a cool $200+ (£132+)
Although this sleeve is over 47 years old there are signs of wear
There is a seam splits, creases/ringwear, a piece missing from a side,small rips and a name written.
THIS WILL ONLY SERVE AS AN AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT $200+ SLEEVE COMES ALONG!!! (although this sleeve version rarely comes up for auction)
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $90(£60) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £62.
With a LOW starting price and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
