Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1964 single Viva Las Vegas / What D'I Say released in the USA.
The record itself (47-8360)is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are a few visible marks/scratches (nothing too deep though)
The labels are quite bright and have NO WRITING!(see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $90 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD for the sleeve alone.
This RARE sleeve has a few flaws which stop this from grading higher.(see photos)
Whilst there are no major flaws there is some ringwear , seam splits and a tiny number written in the bottom corner on one side.
That all said this is an affordable collection filler of this rare variation until that mint $200 (£130+) sleeve comes along!
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to help try and prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
THIS IS THE 2ND ISSUED AND RARER SLEEVE ADVERTIZING "ASK FOR " VIVA LAS VEGAS LP (rather than the earlier alternative sleeve stating "Coming Soon")
This one does not come up for auction that often!!!!!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $100(£66 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £70.
I will start this at under HALF OF THAT!!!
