Description
This is an authentic Elvis Presley Sun 45 rpm copy of Good Rockin' Tonight, flip- I Don't care if the Sun Don't Shine. I am incredibly sad to tell you that when I received this record, it has been glued to the back of a framing cardboard on the Good Rockin side. I have not attempted to try and remove this record and i have no idea what type of glue was used but I know that this unfortunate mistake was done along time ago judging by the apparent discoloration and age of the paper and type of frame used. It does have the three obvious knock out holes on the record and there are numerals in the deadwax that look like- U-130-$? 72 (triangle) 1122. Someone has personalized it with pencil that reads "Purcell." The Sun Don't Shine side of the label is in good condition otherwise with minor ware and a couple small chips of label missing. I am not a record expert but I would rate the vinyl to be in good+ to excellent condition with about 5-6 minor scratches. It will be up to the buyer to determine what he wants to do with this record and I have way of describing what condition the other side will be in. I have to talked to a couple of record guys and they told me to take it to a framing studio to figure out if it is chemical based or water based glue.. Water-based glue being a death sentence basically to the label but there might be hope. I do not want to be responsible and I know that I could be ultimately loosing a fortune with this record. Any questions on this record will be answered quickly.
