Description
This is an auction for a RARE and HARD TO FIND ORIGINAL copy of the 1972 release An American Trilogy / The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face released in the USA.
The record itself (74-0672 )is SUPERB and in EXCELLENT Condition and retains ALL of it's natural sheen. The orange labels are CRISP,CLEAN and have NO WRITING. This is really is a BEAUTY!!!!!!!!!
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2002 as $80 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- )for the sleeve alone!!! The only thing that stops this grading higher is An Original shop price stamp (on Elvis' Sleeve on the 1st Time side) and some light ringwear and creasing!(see photos)
This sleeve is 34 years old and is really hard to find!!!!!!!.There are a few light creases, some light ringwear but NO SPLITS,RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!!!!!( see photos)
THIS IS THE BEST CONDITIONED ORIGINAL COPY OF THIS MEGA RARE RELEASE I HAVE EVER SOLD!!!!!!!!!
The reason this release is rare and much sought after is that the sleeve advertises an Elvis album WHICH WAS NEVER RELEASED "STANDING ROOM ONLY".(The title that came out was "As recorded at Madison Square Garden"). Overall this was valued at about $100(£58) back in 2002 , so i would guess this would have to be at least £65+ . I will start this at under a THIRD of that!!With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
