See above for photos of the Record Record: - How Great Thou Art Elvis Presley Chinese or Taiwan release: Stereo CSJ 544 Orange Vinyl Condition: -Obviously a Elvis bootleg of his great gospel lp, but not sure if it is mainland China or Taiwan where it was released or the date. No English writing except titles and lyrics. Only numbers I see are 57 and 9 on the record label. Contains all 13 of the original songs, but not in the same order. Each side of the record has 6 to 10 lights surface scratches, nothing deep, nothing that affects play, I did hear a few light pops in spots. The worst is the one you see in the 8th photo above, I played through it and it doesn't skip or make any loud pops. The record could use a good cleaning. There is static-y noise when playing, but I think a lot of this will disappear with a good cleaning. There is some cleaning fluid residue on each side. The labels are OK, with some worn spots and a few spindle marks, the color and writing are still strong, see photos. The sound quality is OK, obviously not up to original quality, but definietly playable. The cover is thin flexible cardboard and is covered inside and out with attached thin plastic that doesn't come off. There is a 3 inch split on the top in the opening, see 9th photo. And the corners are bumped with light creases. There are a few small tears in the plastic on the front and back. Obvious shelfware. Record and cover show wear and obviously aren't in minty fresh condition, but fair to good. But it is a rare and cool item which is why you would want this anyway, not for the sound.
