Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1967 single Long Legged Girl (With The Short Dress On) / That's Someone You Never Forget released in the USA.
The record itself (47-9115 )is only in VERY GOOD condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are quite a few marks/scratches but nothing too deep or drastic.
The labels have NO WRITING but some slight damage from where a label has been removed(see photos)
This auction really is more about the HARD TO FIND SLEEVE!!!
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $60 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT-/ VERY GOOD+ for the sleeve alone.(see photos)
There are NO SPLITS,RIPS,TEARS or WRITING!!!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some discolouration/speckling.
THIS WOULD SERVE AS A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT SLEEVE COMES ALONG!
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
THIS IS THE MUCH RARER SLEEVE ADVERTIZING "ASK FOR " Double Trouble LP (rather than the alternative sleeve stating "COMING SOON")
This one does not come up for auction that often!!!!!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $75(£50 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £52.
I will start this at under HALF OF THAT!!!
