Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1966 Gold Standard Series single Milky White Way / Swing Down Sweet Chariot released in the USA.
The record itself (447-0652 Dog On Top )is in EXCELLENT condition and retains ALL of it's natural sheen.
THIS REALLY IS A BEAUTY!!!!!!!!!!!.
The picture sleeve is much sought after and is only in VERY GOOD-/GOOD+ condition.
This sleeve is over 45 years old and shows some signs of age..
There are signs of age such as Ringwear and seam splits down both sides,creases and wear to the top opener.(see photos)
On the plus side there is NO WRITING !!
A MINT copy of this sleeve is $300+ ALONE!!! (£195)
THIS REALLY IS QUITE A RARITY and A HARD ONE TO FIND!!
The record is also stored in the separate paper sleeve and a poly sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was still valued at $190+(£120+) , so i guess it must now be at least £125+.
