Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1965 Gold Standard Series single Blue Christmas / Santa Claus Is Back In Town released in the USA.
The record itself (447-0647 Dog On Side )is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
There are some marks/scratches but nothing too deep or drastic.
The labels have NO WRITING!(see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and is in VERY GOOD+condition.
This sleeve is over 46 years old and has NO RIPS,TEARS or WRITING!!!!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some light ringwear/scuff marks/creases a small stain and seam splits on both sides.(see photos)
THIS REALLY IS QUITE A RARITY and A HARD ONE TO FIND!!
Overall 2 years ago this was still valued at $55+(£36) , so i guess it must now be at least £40.
I will start this at under A HALF OF THAT!!!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE, you will get a GREAT bargain.
