Description
The original version of this box set was released in 1975 and contained 6 x LPs
This is the deluxe edition that was re-issued in 1978 following Elvis' death which includes...
1) a 7" floppy disc - "Brian Matthew introduces excerpts from Elvis Presley's Greatest Hits" 2) a 16 page photographic booklet entitled "The Elvis Story" - (different to the original booklet from 1975) 3) a large fold out poster entitled "The Rise and Rise of Elvis Aaron Presley" 4) a bonus 7th LP - "Elvis in The Movies"
These records all have the green reader's Digest labels as opposed to the white labels on the 1975 issue The inner sleeves have pictures as opposed to the plain Reader's Digest sleeves in the 1975 issue When placed together in the correct order the rear of the inner sleeves form a large poster of Elvis (see photo)
This is in NEAR MINT condition.
Vinyl is un-played.
Box, inserts and inner sleeves are immaculate.
You will be hard pressed to find a better copy that isn't still in the shrink-wrap!
