Description
2 Great ELVIS Rocker on original RCA victor records white label , RECORD PREVUE, seldom seen up for sale .
This rare RCA Victor 45 rpm promo was released in November 1958. RCA was promoting some of their famous recording stars at that time. And, of course, Elvis was the most famous in 1958 with the release of his new songs. This record was sent to record dealers throughout the United States. White label and promotional issue only. Elvis Presley recorded "I Got Stung" at his last Session in the 50s, at June 10 1958, in Nashville. It became the B-Side to "One Night" in October 1958 and was also released promptly as record prevue in the usa and canada. This is this seldom seen record prevue issue. very rare seen offered for sale !!
It was unusual that RCA would put two (side-A) rockin' songs on the same 45 rpm. However, Elvis was such sensation for RCA, they could not wait for this advanced recording to get in the hands of RCA dealers and record shops throughout the land.
This is a 50-year old record, but still in superb great shape. No major scratches or writing on record. Label is slightly worn on both sides as you can see in the photos. EST- VALUE $300-500
