On July 5, 1954 Elvis Presely recorded his first record, "That's All Right," at the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis. This beautifully framed and matted 24KT gold-plated record commemorates the historic event. (Official 2004 US Limited Edition 24kt GOLD 7" disc with replica Sun label, produced to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the release of the single. This stunning 16" x 17" (ca. 41x44cm) framed & glazed award style presentation features the gold disc with a 'He Dared To Rock' mini poster on the left, a numbered plaque at the top & 50th Anniversary US first day cover with a post stamp of August 16th 2004. Numbered out of only 1954 & on the back is a 'Signature Product' elvis.com hologram!).

That's All Right Mama was recorded 50 years ago on a baking hot summer's day in Memphis, USA.

In a tiny recording studio, Elvis, Scotty Moore, Bill Black and producer Sam Phillips made musical history by recording what many now regard to be the song that gave birth to Rock and Roll.

That's All Right was a massive hit in the southern states of America, and although released as an album track later in the 50s in the UK, it was never issued as a British single - until the 50th anniversary in 2004.
