'Item Description'
Overall:  The original Elvis Sails is a hugely rare release, and RCA's thinking not long after that release they decided to re-release it again on their Gold Standard label.  Sort of figure what they thought is they had lost Elvis to Germany for a few years to they were going to release anything they could to keep their star relevant and keep the money flowing in.  The EP format was a way fans could get those early Elvis hits without having to spend the larger dollars on a LP.  This format was very popular in the 1950's thru the mid 1960's when the format would be deleted forever.
Cover: This glossy cover is a bit different from the original Elvis Sails, no border around the cover and does have the rerelease on the cover, back is completely different, advertising other Elvis EP's instead of the calendar from the original.  Front cover has no wear to call out, just stunning, back cover just a hint of wear, again just in great shape.  
Edges and Spine: Both edges and spine are in great shape, can see no wear at all.  
Vinyl Record: Record is a beauty, just has the look of a new record, the labels are beautiful as well, this is absolutely a record that could take a proud place in the best of collections.  
Other: Very tough to find EP from the very genesis of Rock and Roll.
