Kissin' Cousins (Elvis Sings on RCA Victor) Electric Light Display from 1964!
Promotional, in-store display piece. Has a photo of Elvis taken from the same session as the "Elvis as Josh" shot in the lower left on the back of the RCA LPM-2894, but made into a self-standing unit with an electric light bulb behind the cover. Unlike on the LP cover, the display photo shows Elvis holding a guitar.
In my over ten years of collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia I have NEVER come across another electric light display. This was used to promote Elvis Presley's 1964 Kissin' Cousin record album. It is made of cardboard with two light bulbs to highlight "Elvis as Josh" and "Elvis Sings on RCA Victor." It is very fragile. Very few were distributed to major record stores in 1964 and due to their fragile nature they were easily destroyed and thrown away.
The interior lighting is still operational and can be plugged into any 2 or 3 prong power outlet (Please see pictures). It is approximately 33 inches high and spanning about 29 inches in width. The display consist of three pieces of cardboard. The top and bottom pieces are removable. The original light bulbs are still attached and working!!!
This display is not in mint condition, but an original from 1964 should not be in mint condition. It is in very good, used condition. Just think about walking into a record store in 1964 and seeing this beauty on display near your favorite Elvis record!!! There are four tiny tears on the two images, but I taped them in the back to prevent any future damage. The inside of the display has been reinforced with white card stock and packing tape to prevent any future separation. There are some tears on the red boarder and some blemishes on the image, but this display would make a fine addition to any avid Elvis fan's collection. The top, bottom, and back show some spotting and discoloration on the cardboard. There is also tape on the back and inside keeping the display together. The cord is solid and works with any 2 or 3 prong outlet. I have posted multiple photographs so please see pictures.

I have one of the largest and top condition Elvis Presley record collections in the world and I have never seen or heard of another collector owning an Elvis Presley display like this one. Shipping and handling within the United States should be around $40.00 due to the size of this display (if the shipping cost are less I will adjust them at checkout). Since Elvis has fans all over the world I will offer international shipping on this display, but it would have to be sent registered, insured mail at the buyer's expense. International shipping costs could be very high because of the size and value of this display. Please take that into consideration before bidding.
