Being offered is an original Elvis Sun #215 45rpm record, w/Authentic SUN Records Sleeve.
Trail off numbers are engraved as follows:
"Milkcow Blue's Boogie" side: U-140-45 72
"You're a Heartbreaker" side: U-141-45 72
3 "Push Marks" are present on both sides!
This record has a slight label fading on the Heartbreaker side, however play and viewing pleasure are not affected. No skips, no pop's etc; Just that sweet SUN sound.
The record itself has some very fine paper sleeve scratches but plays all the way thru on my turntable without any skips (Tested with a Ortofon Concorde stylus on A Technics 1200 pro TT), I would give this record a play test of VG+.
The value of this record is booked at $1500 and up, in the Jerry Osborne/Goldmine record guides. Albeit not a mint copy, certainly an investment piece. I have a fair reserve, just to protect my original investment.Also included in this auction is an authentic SUN Records sleeve! Worth some money on it's own. This piece has the proper ethchings and "push marks" a real gem.
