Description
Mattel 12" Elvis "Collector's Edition - Last in Series" Elvis collectible / collectable doll / figure / mannequin.
Includes microphone stand and gold album plaque commemorating Presley's 131 gold, platinum or multi-platinum awards. Elvis is wearing a gold lame suit.
As far as we are aware this figure was made exclusively for the American collector's market in 2001.
Text on back of box reads:
"It was 'sheer pandemonium.'
On March 28th, 1957, a shimmering apparition appeared on stage at Chicago's International Amphitheater. The sight of Elvis Presley in a $2500 glittering suit, designed by Nudie of Hollywood, drove screaming fans to storm the stage - and end the concert - after a short 47 minutes!"
As new except for some slight damage to plastic window, which has been repaired with Sellotape.
