Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1957 release of Too Much / Playing For Keeps released in the USA.
The record itself (47-6800 )is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen .
There are a few light marks/scratches but nothing too deep or drastic.
The labels are CRISP,CLEAN and have NO WRITING!.
This is the RARER issue WITH THE HORIZONTAL LINE. (you could say this is this U.S equivilant of HMV GOLD WRITING UK issue!)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2002 as $70 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is in EXCELLENT-/ VERY GOOD+ )for the sleeve alone!!!
Although this sleeve is 51 years old there are NO SPLITS, RIPS,TEARS OR WRITING!!!!(see photos).
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some light creasing and staining!(see photos)
THIS ONE RARELY COMES UP FOR AUCTION!!!!
Overall this was valued at about $100 (£64) back in 2002 , so i would guess this would have to be at least £70.
THIS WILL SERVE AS A GREAT COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT COPY COMES ALONG!!!
I will start this at under HALF of that!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a great bargain.
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA and Japanese picture sleeve lots.
I offer shipping discounts on multiple purchases!
