Description

This is a super-rare Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Original Master Recording “Anadisc 200” VINYL LP pressing of Emerson Lake and Palmer “Tarkus” catalog number MFSL 1-203. This is the band’s second album and one of their greatest and features the classic “Tarkus” suite on side one.

This is a special limited edition copy. The cover is Very Good++ (some might call it better than that but I’d rather be conservative) with a little bit of crumpling on the corners and some slight cover wear on the front and less so on the back. The record is Mint-minus – judging by the spindle wear on the label I probably played it once or twice.

The record is mastered from the original master tapes and pressed on 200-gram vinyl. There is no number on the “Special Limited Edition” logo on the lower left-hand back cover. The number is punched out as this is a promo copy. Maybe this makes it even rarer – I don’t know.

I have been collecting records for over 45 years and have decided to begin selling items from my collection as I no longer have the time to listen or the room to keep all my records. Keep your eyes open for many more records up for auction as time goes on. All of my records have been fanatically well kept over the decades in a smoke-free home.
