Description
Up for auction is a San Francisco Symphony program boldly signed by the great Russian pianist Emil Gilels. The program is in excellent condition with no tears or folds. There is a slight amount of puckering as you can see in the photos that I've take of the program. The program is for a performance that was held November 3, 1978.
I discovered the program when I was going through a small collection of albums that I purchased. The program was in the cover of a Gilels record. I believe it has been stored in the album jacket for at least 30 years. The autograph was obtained post performance. I have absolutely no reason to doubt the authenticity of this remarkable piece of classical music memorabilia.

Four Piano Pieces, Opus 32 - Schumann
Moments Musicaux, Opus 94 - Schubert
Polonaise in C Minor, Opus 40, No. 2 - Chopin
Sonata in B Minor, Opus 58 - Chopin
