I bought this wonderful album brand new in 1995. It has been played and enjoyed and shows signs of this, but overall is in Very Good + to Excellent condition.
Sleeve is crisp and clean to the front and back. There is a really miniscule amount of wear to the bottom right corner, and a small bit of wear to the top right corner. There are definite signs of wear to the other two corners. None of the corners are creased.
The spine shows obvious signs of wear with some slight cracking and creasing, but no split seams anywhere on this sleeve. Although the spine shows signs of wear, this doesn't affect any text on the spine because there isn't any!
The vinyl shows light signs of wear and dust, and also some fingerprints (not mine - must've been a naughty guest!). I decided not to clean the vinyl and to sell as is, so aside from sounding here and there as though it needs a little clean, there are no jumps or skips.
The labels are lovely - no spindle marks, and the couple of very minor and subtle flaws on the B-side of the label were factory-made.
Vinyl housed in original paper insert. No split seams. Some minor brown staining that looks like it could be glue stains? Anyhow, this is just an ordinary paper insert.
Regarding the photos, please note that the sleeve is pleasingly flat and straight - it's my old pine table that is visibly wonky, hence the album not lying completely flat on the table!
*Important note* On Discogs and Popsike I've read that some people had copies of this pressing with a CD-sized lyrics booklet. My copy never came with this insert - I don't know why. Did Grapevine simply use the insert from the CD release (GRACD 102) and include it with some of their vinyl pressings? It seems most likely, although I don't know for sure, but in which case it would be cheap and easy to acquire.
All in all, a great chance to get your hands on this much sought-after Emmylou Harris rarity!
