Description
This record is being re-listed due to a failiure to pay by the 'winning bidder' of the previous auction. This is the final time i will be selling this extremely rare piece of Black Metal history. Released in 1993 on Samoths' Nocturnal Art label. Catalogue number Eclipse001. The record is hand numbered #486 of only 1000!! 'As the Shadows Rise' was recorded in December of 1992 with the lineup of Ihsahn, Samoth, Faust & Mortiis. Side A: The Ancient Queen and Lord of the Storms Side B: Witches Sabbath The vinyl is very near perfect. No scratches anywhere. The cover is in excellent condition except for slight shelf-ware along the bottom edge for 2.5cm approx. The record was played a couple of times (but not for the last decade at least) and was then recorded and stored. I am the original and only ever owner. It does NOT include the Emperor logo sticker that originally came with the record. This is an absolute must for the completist of the now disbanded legendary Black Metal band.
