Description
Super super rare disc and I scored the only copy available for $1 on Record Store Day in April 2019!!!!
Here’s the incredible story:
Reverb was running a contest/promotion on RSD in which they supplied a small handful of rare and sought after albums as part of a treasure hunt put on at local shops around the United States. It just so happened that the Erasure The Violent Flame album they were giving away(selling for $1) to whoever found it first was hidden at the shop that’s just a couple miles from my house!!!! Zia on Rainbow Ave in Las Vegas. We were about the 110th person in line that morning. And we figured we’d be out of luck. But after shopping for other stuff and looking around for about 45 minutes, we went to the check out and asked the person directing traffic if he had seen the Holy Grail come through the line yet. He said “no” and that it was still out there. He gave us a tiny little hint of what to look for, and we raced to complete all our purchases and take them to the car before hurrying back to the racks to resume the hunt. Less than 5 minutes later we found it!!!
Check out the pic they took of us at the register when we went up to pay for it! Super cool contest and we had a lot of fun on Record Store Day 2019!
This is still as it was found that morning. Zoomed in pics of corners show ever so slight dings. This is as good and rare as it gets.
