Profile:
American hip hop duo from Long Island, New York, composed of DJEric B. (2) (Eric Barrier) and MC Rakim (William Michael Griffin, Jr.). Formed in 1986, the group stopped in 1993.
Paid in Full debut album of Eric B. & Rakim, released on July 7, 1987, by Island-subsidiary label 4th & B'way Records. In 2003, this album was ranked number 228 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
