Description

Eric Burdon & War - The Black Man's Burdon

(Liberty LDS 84003/4 UK Double LP 1970)

This is a UK original double LP pressing. This is the earliest UK pressing which includes the track "P.C. 3". This track was removed from all subsequent pressings.

It has a thick matt gatefold sleeve, & comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeves. These are in VG to VG+ condition.

The records are pressed on thick vinyl & have black Liberty labels. They have 1st press A-1U/ B-1U/ A-1U/ B-1U matrix stampers.

A great LP which fuses Psych-Funk-Prog-Jazz.

Gatefold Sleeve: There is considerable rubbing wear to the spine, top & bottom edges. There is some other mild to more moderate rubbing wear & ringwear. VG- condition.

Vinyl 1: Some light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, and a couple of light marks. VG condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall. There is some light, or mild, crackle in some quieter places. There are a few light clicks on one track.

Vinyl 2: Some light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, and some minor pressing marks. VG+ condition. The labels are nice and clean & show very mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall. There is some light, or mild, crackle in some quieter places. There are a few light clicks on one track.

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
