We don't grade without listening. We find too many albums that look clean as can be that have a skip. This one plays through with scarcely any surface 'noise'. There are tops 2 minutes, if that, on this Vinyl on which you'll hear only the slightest surface noise. The Sleeve gets the ' plus ' sign as it is sturdy and still has nice sheen on cover. You can see the edge wear in the pics.

Our view:
Dolphy sounds tremendous. No matter which instrument he is playing, his playing is a bit mind boggling. All of the players on this album are legendary. There are no weak tracks. Sometimes the music simply does not get any better....maybe equal, yet not really better. Those who call this 'acid jazz' * miss, we believe, the straight ahead track such as "Left Alone", or the lovely abstract take of "Tenderly". Echoes of Byrd, and cannot help but think of Mingus. Yet Dolphy was surely a giant. Have this on CD also, and must say that the fidelity on this reissue in 1970 from Fantasy makes us want to stay with Vinyl only.
