Description

Eric Dolphy [with Bent Axen, Bjorn Elniff, Chuck Israels, Erik Moseholm] IN EUROPE (note that jacket says “Vol. 1”; label on disc does not carry this info. Prestige 7304, recorded 1961. Washington Ave in Bergenfield address for jacket and disc.  LP is in M- condition; one small saliva spot is visible. Typical Prestige pressing wth a little hiss, but 'twas born that way... Jacket is matte-finish, presumably later in the 60s, but also in M- condition. Very strong.


Here’s the first of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
